Right Facing vs Left Facing?
Think of your ideal orientation for your stashed optic(s). For example, Joe likes a Right-Facing Holster on the right side of his tripod. That means his spotting scope eyepiece points up and away from him. However, it could also be flipped around backward or he could rotate the tripod 180 degrees and he'd have the opposite. There is quite a bit of versatility to each, so it's not a critical decision.

*There is a chance that your Outdoorsmans tripod is one of few that were made with a larger diameter upper leg section. If you have the ability to measure the diameter with calipers or a micrometer the larger diameter is 1.04". If you have one of these please say so in the order notes or contact us prior to purchase.
